RED LIPS ROCK!

Hot of the bridal runways, Designers were rocking RED LIPS with their collection. From bright orange red to dark crimson red, Amsale, Reem Acra, and Legends By Ramona keveza all had a version of a red lip.

I know from personal and professional experience a red lipstick can be hard to find as well as intimidating to wear. ITS ALOT of COLOR ! Yesterday I decided to go on a shopping mission to find some great reds to recommend to brides. I buzzed around Sephora, looking at the different lines that had a variety of reds. There were many choices, but NARS Cosmetics had the most colors as well as textures to offer. My favorite texture is the semi matte, its has a velvet creamy texture with great staying power! Colors shown are from NARS Cosmetics: Heat Wave- bright orange red, Jungle Red-bright red from the 50’s, Red Lizard-full powered red and MY PERSONAL FAVORITE Fire Down Below-a true blood red.

 The Makeup look for the spring 2012 collection, Legends By Ramona Keveza was a classic timeless look. With a Red lip being the main focus, I love this look  for a few reasons . 1) This look will photograph well in black and white.
